In 2003, Walter Sievernich, the founder of The Kapital, started his career as a stockbroker during a time when his native Germany was imposing tight exchange controls upon foreign investors. Even as his fellow brokers suffered from an unstable financial climate, he persevered and found a way to flourish.

As such, in 2004, he entered the burgeoning industry of financial planning and instituted his own a financial planning office in Düsseldorf, Germany. His goal was to help foreign investors remain financially sound and internally competitive with each other in order to combat the rising rate of unemployment at the time.

Panama economy's overall growth has been slow but erratic. During that time, Mr. Sievernich served both as an individual investor and financial advisor to many domestic companies.

By 2006, Mr. Sievernich moved to Panama City and became the pioneering partner of the money management and investment advice firm, The Kapital International Investment Firm, SPE. His extensive, nearly two-decade experience in financial planning and management allowed his brainchild, The Kapital, to help local investors to reach their financial goals.

Currently, The Kapital is fast-becoming a worldwide enterprise that possesses 5 agency tie-ups and 6 spoke offices in emerging markets across Europe, U.S., and other countries—and 3 major investment fund packages that cater to your company's revenue and financial situation. Marcus L. Lunge, MBA, CFA, Investment Committee Chairman and Chief Investment Officer. He joined The Kapital International Investment Firm, SPE as a fund manager in September 2006. He was promoted to CIO on May 2007.

Janus R. Reichwein, MBA, CFA, Executive Vice-President and Chief Investment Strategist. He joined The Kapital International Investment Firm, SPE as a fund manager in October of 2007. He was promoted as CIS on March 2008.

Anna O. Schubert, CFA, Senior Fund Supervisor. She joined The Kapital International Investment Firm, SPE as a Senior Fund Supervisor in August of 2006 and has been serving under that position ever since. She is responsible for mutual fund and separate account portfolio supervision.
